Over the years, I have added 5 Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapists who are completing their clinical training under my license and guidance as an AAMFT Approved Supervisor.
We are all trained in culturally-sensitive and client-centered practices and draw from post-modern counseling therapies including Narrative, Collaborative and Solution-Focused.
We strive to be allies and advocates for historically-marginalized groups and to bring a social justice lens to our work. We listen closely to the narratives of your life while also paying attention to the current events, socio-cultural expectations and relational dynamics that shape your identity. We hope that by being curious about your values, hopes and knowledge, we can support you in making the changes you want in your life.
Each Associate Therapist has been selected to join my practice because they bring a unique perspective to our work as mental health professionals. All have lived experiences as members of underserved, immigrant or multi-cultural households. As a practice owner and supervisor, it has been an important value of mine to assemble a therapy team that reflects the diversity of clients we serve.
